Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Lipsticks have been cult favourites since their launch in 1990. 25 years later, L’Absolu Rouge has transformed, becoming even more precious, feminine and surprising than ever, according to Lancôme.
A lipstick should sparkle like a precious jewel.
Armand Petitjean, founder of Lancôme, 1937
The updated palette consists of 86 shades, 50 of which were designed by Lancôme make-up artist and YouTube star, Lisa Eldridge. Each lipstick is nestled inside a sleek black case featuring an innovative click opening system.
The updated L’Absolu Rouge comes in 3 textures: sheer, cream and matte. Lancôme puts a lot into the meaning of texture. For example, Lancôme describes how a beautiful deep red makes an intense statement in a lovely matte finish, offers an everyday look in an easy-to-wear sheer effect and shows off more sophistication in an elegant cream.Above: L’Absolu Rouge, 132 Caprice – Cream
The fiery and captivating classic Lancôme cream red, Caprice, is the perfect classic red. The formula is absolutely beautiful. It’s soft and creamy and lasts for hours!

I can’t get enough of Rose Lancôme. This bright fuchsia pink is absolutely stunning. This colour is extremely long wearing. I had to really apply a good makeup remover to get this colour off before bed.
