Today I’ve created some christmas nail art for Nail Polish Canada’s 2/3 week nail art challenge. If you like my design please vote for me HERE. Select nailthataccent in the dropdown and you’re done. I would really appreciate it.
The theme for week two of the challenge is DECORATIONS. When thinking of decorations, I immediately think of twinkly, beautiful lights. Ever since I was little, I always loved driving around the neighbourhoods and looking at all the gorgeous lights (come Dec 1st, NOT BEFORE PEOPLE).
Now I’ve seen a ton of red and green christmas nail art out there that is lovely, but it’s just not me (and the truth is I don’t have any good christmas green polish) so I decided to create my own decoration color scheme for this look using polishes and acrylic paint for the lights and tree.
For the Gradient:
- Sephora by OPI “What Aura Going to Wear”
- Sally Hansen “White On”
- OPI “Mod About You”
For the Tree and Lights:
- Acrylic paints from the dollar store
- Glitter Placement using Ardene “Ice Ice Baby”
- Top Coat: Seche Vite
