Thank you to all who made my first fashion post last Sunday a huge success! The feedback I had was positive and it turns out that many of you would like to see more fashion on nailthataccent.com! I found this awesome t-shirt at Winners last week and I thought to myself, Lindsay – Why Don’t You Blog About It?
Perhaps not the most flattering of tops on my boobs, that’s why I paired it with this cute jean vest that I picked up from Nordstroms. Still, I couldn’t help but put it in my shopping cart as it’s just so fitting. Agree?
It’s still super hot weather in Toronto, so I’m still sporting sandals and skirts most days and I absolutely love this Adidas banana flare skirt I picked up a few weeks ago at the adidas store in Montreal. If you like it, it’s sold out at most online retailers but I did find it here and I also love this Adidas Banana print dress too..Like most fashionistas – I’ve always coveted the classic Chanel double flap bag. While you’ll see many fashion bloggers sporting designer handbags that cost in the thousands of dollars range, I’ll let you in on a little secret. I90% of the time, the bags are not theirs! And so, it is with deep regret that this bag is not mine either – but it looks great with the outfit right? I ransacked my sisters closet, borrowed the bag for the day and returned it before she knew it was missing. Funny thing is, she covets the bag so much that despite me returning the bag in the exact same place, she noticed it was hanging a little differently so I was busted quickly. A girl and her Chanel bag…#goals!
Skirt: Adidas | | Tank Top: Winners (but I love this one too!)| Shoes: Modern Rebel (last season but similar shoes HERE) | Bag: Chanel | Vest: Nordstroms | Bracelet: Hermes | Bracelet: Stella & Dot | Earrings: Stella & Dot | Lips: Urban Decay
I had a lot of fun putting this outfit together, and I think that’s what I love about fashion – you don’t need to do what everyone else is doing – mix and match and make it work for you!
