For those of you who know me, or have gotten to know me over my blogging career, you won’t be surprised when I tell you that I have a little obsession for jewelry. Silver, gold or pearls… rings, earrings, necklaces – you name it – I love it all.
Although sometimes it’s fun to pick up cheapie costume jewelry, my preference is always to be supportive of local jewelry shops and purchase something from them. It was about a year ago that I came across Muizee Shop at a local market in Toronto. I fell in love instantly. The owner, Briar, had a sophisticated style that caught my attention. Her display was stylish and trendy yet chic and understated. I purchased a few of her rings and necklaces and have coveted them ever since.
I was absolutely thrilled when Briar contacted me to showcase some of her new handmade pieces (rings, earrings and necklaces) this past weekend. I’ve added a few new pieces to my Muizee collection (five rings and three necklaces) that will pop up in a lot of my photography going forward, but today I want to show you the ring collection I was lucky enough to snag.
What better way to showcase rings? With some serious nail art, right?
For the last few weeks, I’ve had a desire to create watermelon nail art (maybe it’s the warmer weather), so today you can see what I came up with to showcase my new rings!
I used two polishes from the recent essie neon collection to create my watermelon nails and hand painted them with a small nail art brush.
Rings: index finger – bar ring, middle finger – cube ring, ring finger – full heart ring and 2 x band rings. All rings are sterling silver, and the cube ring is also 18k gold. They are all perfect stacking rings as both the cube ring and the full heart ring are slightly raised.
Don’t the rings look gorgeous with my watermelon nail art?
If you’re into jewelry, definitely check out Muizee – you won’t be disappointed. Hope you like my complementary watermelon nail art.
Until next time,
