When Urban Decay released Moondust Eyeshadow, makeup junkies everywhere went wild (including me). A never-before-seen innovation in shadow, Urban Decay Moondust contains microfine bits of iridescent sparkle for a serious shimmer effect like no other. The microfine bits of sparkle and lush 3-D metallics makes for a serious luxurious diamond-like effect.
As a lover of the individual Urban Decay Moonshadow eyeshadows, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the first of its kind eyeshadow palette (launches in Canada Aug 1st)! The Palette contains 8 all-new shades and (spoiler alert), they are STUNNING!
- Specter: soft pink with tonal sparkle
- Element: peach with pink shift and sparkle
- Magnetic: purple with blue sparkle
- Lightyear: vibrant green with tonal sparkle
- Granite: gunmetal with multicolored sparkle
- Lithium: brown with iridescent 3-D sparkle
- Vega: bright blue with tonal sparkle
- Galaxy: smoky blue-gray with iridescent 3-D sparkle
As if the shadows themselves aren’t amazing enough – the sparkly gunmetal case is equally impressive. Featuring a mirrored cutout “Moondust” logo, the full sized mirror inside makes it easy to apply your makeup while on the go.
Other Summer Launches from UD
This new waterproof fine-point eye pen allows you to apply blacker-than-black lines with total precision. As Urban Decay quotes:
There are two universal truths about black liquid eyeliner: it can never be too black or too perfect.
I’m terrible at creating perfectly straight lines, but Perversion glides so easily that it makes it so much easier to achieve one.
Razor Sharp – Water Resistant Longwear Liquid Eyeliners
Imagine 20-long lasting liquid eyeliners that are actually easy to apply? Well look no further. As I mentioned above with Perversion, I do have issues creating perfectly straight lines when it involves liquid pens and my eyes, but I was determined to give these a try and low and behold – SUCCESS!
The precision brush is practically impossible to mess up. After giving the bottle a good shake, lean your elbow on a stable surface to keep your hand sturdy while you apply. Then, draw down into your lashes so the upper part of the line is sharp and even.
The other thing I love about these liners is that they actually stay where you put them and they don’t smudge or fade – hallelujah!
If you were to buy one Razor Sharp, I would recommend the cobalt blue Chaos but if blue isn’t your thing, you have 19 others to choose from :).
