The Monthly Nail is a new monthly nail polish subscription service. Offering OPI and essie polishes, they also have their own boutique line of indie polish “Eugene Malibu”.

It’s definitely worth checking out The Monthly Nail, not only for it’s boutique line of polish, but also because they offer a ‘create your own’ Eugene Malibu polish – which I think is a fabulous and fresh idea that I haven’t seen.

Having just launched the Eugene Malibu 11-piece festival collection on May 1st, I have two of their polishes to show you below.

Rebellion

Rebellion is a gorgeous tinted orange glitter polish topper with yellow, pink and orange glitter suspended throughout. The formula is fantastic and I thought it looks great over white, yellow, orange and pink polish.

The chevrons were created using chevron nail art tape. The 3d bow was purchased from Claire’s.

Mysteryland

Mysterland is a clear glitter topper with silver, pink, neon pink and purple glitter. I tried this over essie  no place like chrome, bottle service, cascade cool, dj play that song and the girls are out to really bring out the pink, purple and silver glitter in the polish. Rings worn below are from Muizee.

I was really impressed with both of these polishes and love how they sparkled up my nails. I think both polishes would have looked really pretty over a nude matte shade as well.
