I recently brought you the new OPI: SPOTLIGHT ON GLITTER collection, so I thought it only fair to bring you a few glitter polishes from my favorite new Indie brand – DRIP DROP PAINT.
My dearest ‘nail polish friend’ Jessica, who has been so supportive of me from the start (she taught me what a ‘Cinderella hand was’), has started her own line of polish – Drip Drip Paint. I finally had time to test out three of her polishes and ***spoiler alert***….. I am in love (disclaimer – for those who know me, you know I’m not being biased – I honestly don’t give credit where it is not due).
The first thing that stood out to me when I received the bottles are Jessica’s adorable labels on the back of her bottles. I mean – how cute is this?
The three polishes I used were “Stairway to Heaven”, “Physical Graffiti” and “Pink”:
Although I’m a bit of an anomaly in the nail art community (i.e. I’m not entirely obsessed with glitter) gasp, horror! When I do, however, find a good glitter polish that suits my personal style, I like using glitter on a couple of accent nails (saves the time it takes to do nail art) and give my nails a fun and sparkly accent. I was looking forward to trying out Drip Drop Paint’s “#Pink” which is a solid cream polish, as well.
Here is #PINK and STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN which currently are being sold as a duo, so I wanted to try them out together (I’m trying to convince Jessica to create more #Pinks).
White, pink and gold are three colors that look fab together and Drip Drop Paint did a a perfect job of combining these colors in STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN which is applied here in 3 thin coats. #PINK is a the perfect shade of pink. It has a bit of a coral undertone that I love. I mattified it here with Essie MATTE ABOUT YOU topcoat. I also added some gold glitter foil and a gold stud as the accent nails (tutorial on how to add foil here). For the glitter nails I used Glisten & Glow HK Topcoat.
For PHYSICAL GRAFFITI, I added two accent nails with Sinful Colors “Palm Breezy” and used tape to create some pointy triangles with studs. I love how this look came together. PHYSICAL GRAFFITI is shown here with three thin coats. I’m in love with this black, purple, pink and blue glitter combination.
I’m really loving these polishes and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who loves a little glitter in their life and is looking for something truly unique.

You and me both, I’m not entirely obsessed with glitter either. We’ll have to stick together. Lol.
Wow we are more and more similar!
#Pink and Stairway to Heaven are super cute together, I love the addition of the gold foil!
Thanks Lucy xo
