Polka dots are one of my favorite designs. They’re so feminine and pretty that I love adding a polka dot accent to my outfit, whether it’s a polka dot purse, a blouse or my polka dot jeans, I can’t seem to get enough of polka dots!
Polka dot nails are just as perfect an accent as an item of clothing. Not only are they easy to do (dotting tool, toothpick, pin, ball point ben etc.), the impact of such an easy technique is impressive (can we say cute nails?).
Today the beauty buffs are looking at polka dots, and I turned to a polka dot/rose Cath Kidston- design. Certainly not original, but definitely pretty and easy to do, I love how this design turned out.
Using a soft pastel blue, Motives daydream, I first polished my nails blue. Then using a small dotting tool and white acrylic paint, I created a dotted pattern on my nails (these looked cute on their own).
After my polka dot nails dried, I added some roses with acrylic paints.
Beautiful impact with such a simple technique.
