Happy Easter and Passover for those who celebrate either of these traditions. It’s a beautiful day in Toronto and spring is definitely in the air.
Today’s post is reviewing three nail polishes from The Polish Alcoholic, an Indie nail polish line from the Netherlands.
The three colors I reviewed: Morning Sunrise, Dofomite and Pucker Up, Granny! arrived in the sweetest package. I always love the care and detail that Indie polish makers put into the presentation of their polish creation and the Polish Alcoholic did a great job!
Dolfomite is a bright cream pink that applies beautifully in three thin coats or two thicker coats. The self levelling properties of this polish are great and there is no streakiness. Here is shown with three thin coats and OPI Top Coat.
Morning Sunrise is a stunning gold flecked topper that when applied in a thin coat can really add dimension to any color of polish. The Polish Alcoholic already had some swatches of this as a topper (see here), so I wanted to play with it as a polish on its own and WOWZA!. This is definitely one of my favourites. It applies so easily and in three thin coats gives a fully opaque coverage. Shown here with three thin coats and OPI topcoat.
Pucker Up, Granny!
All in all these are three fabulous polishes. The formulas were great, the wide brush allowed for easy application and the final look was stunning. Don’t you agree?
All polishes available at The Polish Alcoholic store.
