I’m nowhere near ready for fall, but I’m not going to lie, the fall nail polish collections that I’ve been reviewing have me a little antsy for gorgeous fall hues. OPI Washington D.C. Fall/Winter 2016 Collection is a collaboration with Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress Kerry Washington, recently named the company’s first-ever Creative Ambassador. Olivia Pope…I mean “Kerry”, worked with OPI co-founder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann to develop and name the 12 permanent and 3 limited-edition shades.
Stay Off The Lawn
A beautiful deep, lush green that is actually a one-coater!
Never a Dulles Moment
This is a deeper yellow than OPI Just Can’t Copeacabana and I really like it. OPI describes it as a ‘curry yellow’ but I don’t think it’s as deep as that.
Yank My Doodle
If you’re an orange-lover you’ll love this deep orange that covers in 1-coat!
Squeaker of the House
I’m in love with this perfect chocolate brown.
A gorgeous bright red with a fuschia undertone.
We the Female
What an awesome name for this empowering garnet!
Suzi-The First Lady of Nails
I see what OPI was going for with this hue, but I don’t think I can pull off this olive green.
Pale to the Chief
Surprise, surprise, my favourite polish in OPI Washington D.C. is a flawless neutral.
Freedom of Peach
A beautiful peachy tone that applies flawlessly in 2 coats.
Shh…It’s Top Secret!
I love this for fall! A deep, deep brown, so dark, it is incognito!
OPI by Popular Vote
A beautiful cool apple red that is actually a real original in my collection.
CIA= Color is Awesome
A stunning dusky blue that is another favourite of mine in the collection.
3 limited edition shades
Grab this luscious plum while you can as it’s limited edition folks!
“Liv” in the Gray
Apologies for the blur in the above image, but take my word for it – this is a perfect slate grey.
Inside the ISABELLEway
A caramel creme that I think doesn’t do my skin tone any justice.
Ulta and Ulta.com Exlusives
These two polishes are only available at Ulta.
An ultra deep moss green.
An uber dark plum brown that I’m actually really fond of.
What do you think of the OPI Washington D.C. Collection?
PS —- speaking of OPI – stay tuned for a VERY exciting OPI giveaway next week.
