I’ve been waiting for what feels like an eternity to get my hands on the new OPI Soft Shades Collection.
OPI Soft Shades left to right: Chiffon My Mind, Act Your Beige!, Make Light of the Situation, Put it in Neutral, Petal Soft & This Silver’s Mine.
Are these hues not just STUNNING? I could stare at the bottles all day…but let’s get to the swatches because I’m sure you’re as curious as I was.
The 6 hues in the OPI Soft Shades Collection are really on trend with all of the blush and neutrals we’re seeing across the beauty industry from neutral and blush eye shadow palettes, to nude lips – these polishes are definitely worth a closer look.
All swatches below are shown with two coats and OPI top coat.
This Silver’s Mine
While this polish looks to me to be somewhere in between silver and gold, it’s a nice addition to the OPI Soft Shades Collection, but it’s nothing ground breaking or new.
Act Your Beige!
I think I’m in love with this soft neutral. While I wouldn’t so much call this a beige, it’s more of a soft creamy sheer pink. Wouldn’t this look gorgeous for a french manicure? I’m not even wearing a base coat and look how elegant and beautiful this looks!
Make Light of the Situation
This iridescent glitter is shown here over Act Your Beige! as it’s a translucent sparkly glitter and needs to be worn over another polish. It’s very pretty.
Chiffon My Mind
This colour is probably one of my favourites, but also the most difficult to apply and photograph. I actually have three coats above to show full opacity. This soft sheer white has lilac undertones and a very subtle shimmer to it that is stunning.
Put it in Neutral
Another sheer neutral, this pink-toned beige is really pretty. I simply love this look for fresh, clean nails. I think it would look really cool with a matte topcoat (I’ll have to try this).
If you’re into the trends with neutrals and blush tones, than you would be missing out by not trying a few hues from this collection. While you might not need the silver (This Silver is Mine), it’s still a gorgeous polish so you may even want to splurge on the whole collection (they are also available in mini sets).
Until next time,
