It wasn’t too long ago that we saw the beautiful OPI Soft Shades Collection (click here for swatches). Now OPI has released OPI Infinite Shine Soft Shades – six softly tinted shades that should last until you take it off.
I’m sorry I’m late to the table in showing you these, as they were actually released back in May, but better late than never right?
What is infinite shine? OPI developed a non-gel polish that is both long-lasting, has the brilliant shine of a gel and is removed the same way as a regular lacquer. The easy three-step process involves a special primer to prep the nails to grip the colour and prevent staining, a gel-like polish that requires no curing and finally a gloss top coat.
Let’s have a look at OPI Infinite Shine Soft Shades Collection.
The Beige of Reason
Probably my favourite of the OPI Infinite Shine Soft Shades, this is a beautiful neutral hue that applies perfectly with 2 coats.
Non-Stop White
I actually did not see this polish as pure white. To me it has a slightly yellow tinge to it. I found it really difficult to apply to get full coverage. Shown here is three coats.
Eternally Turquoise
Another favourite of mine, you can’t really go wrong with this beautiful blue/green. The easiest of the six polishes to apply.
Pearl of Wisdom
Though difficult to see in the photos, Pearl of Wisdom is a white/grey polish with a slight shimmer to it. I think it would be the perfect winter white. Another polish that wasn’t too easy to apply evenly.
Beyond the Pale Pink
I love this hue. The pink is so light that you can barely see it in the photos, but I assure you, it is there. This hue really speaks to the blush tones we’ve been seeing across the beauty industry for a while.
Go to Grayt Lengths
A beautiful chic shimmering, silver gray, you just have to love the name!
While these polishes are not cheap ($18 CAD), they are priced like a regular gel polish only you don’t have to invest in a lamp or learn how to apply gel polish, so that’s a plus.
Have you tried OPI Infinite Shine before? What do you think of OPI Infinite Shine Soft Shades?
Until next time,
