Every fall I look forward to the 2 special nail polishes OPI releases as part of their Designer Series Collection (see last year’s OPI Designer Series HERE). This year we can look forward to two more beauties: DS 48 Charcoal and DS 49 Imperial.
OPI Designer Series 2015: DS 48 Charcoal
OPI DS 48 Charcoal is a stunning duochrome polish that shifts between a mauve purple and an aqua green. This polish is something really special.
Depending on how the light hits your nails, the polish will look a little different.
The polish dries to a gorgeous matte finish, but in my photos, I added a glossy to top coat which really gives the polish depth.
OPI Designer Series 2015: DS 49 Imperial
This fuchsia polish ranges in intensity depending on the light. In direct sunlight, OPI DS 49 Imperial appears as a bright pink fuchsia, but in lower light and shade, it appears much darker.
OPI DS 49 Imperial also dries with a satin matte finish, but I think looks much brighter and intense with a glossy topcoat (as I show in the swatches above).
OPI Designer Series 2015 should be out now so keep your eyes peeled, because these are two polishes definitely worth collecting.
