The much anticipated OPI Coca Cola Collection launched in June (sorry I’m a little late to the table with the Oh Mon Dieux Nail Art Challenge taking up a lot of my time).
OPI partnered with Coca Cola to launch nine limited edition nail polishes inspired by some of the most recognized brands of The Coca-Cola Company.
According to the Press Release:
The OPI Coca Cola collection offers a range of colors and hues representing everything from classic red for Coca cola to metallic silver for Diet Coke, dark red and black for Coke Zero, black cherry for Cherry Coke, cream and warm pink for Vanilla Coke, shimmering citrus green for Sprite and glitter-paced orange and deep purple for Fanta Orange and Franta Grape.
Coca-Cola Red (inspired by Coca-Cola)
What a way to start out the collection with the perfect red. Just like a girl can never have too many handbags or shoes, I believe that a girl can never have too many red polishes. Shown here with two coats, this color is vibrant and bright and represents the iconic Coca-Cola brand perfectly.
You’re So Vain-illa (inspired by Vanilla Coke)
We all need a variety of neutrals in our collection. Soft and subdued, this polish is perfect. Similar to OPI Ear About Van Gogh?, it’s much lighter and has more yellow than brown as an under pigment. Application was a dream.
Sorry I’m Fizzy Today (inspired by Vanilla Coke)
Get Cherried Away (inspired by Cherry Coke)
A gorgeous cream purple with hints of fushia undertones. I definitely love this color. It’s going to be just perfect for the fall and I think it would make a great pedicure as well. Shown here with two coats.
My Signature is “DC” (inspired by Cherry Coke)
Today I Accomplished Zero (inspired by Coke Zero)
Green on the Runway (inspired by Sprite)
This is a green and brown duochrome polish, ie) it looks like a different color depending on how the light reflects off the polish. It’s truly a stunner as well, and can you believe it’s my first duochrome polish?
A Grape Affair (inspired by Fanta Grape)
Orange You Fantastic (inspired by Fanta Orange)
An orange, gold and yellow glitter topper, I don’t think putting it over the dark purple does this color justice, but I wanted you to see all the different micro glitter jam packed in this glitter bomb!
What’s the Verdict?
Swatching these babies was definitely worth the wait. OPI has done it again creating some fun and unique shades. All polishes applied flawlessly and I had absolutely no disappointment with this OPI Coca Cola collection.
