I’m a HUGE CND Vinylux fan. I know the polish doesn’t work for everyone (hint: if your nails are extremely oily, it’s probably not the best choice for you), but for me, I slap on 2 coats of Vinylux and use the suggested top coat (I love this topcoat on regular polish too) and I’m good to go for 7 days. Tried, tested and true by yours truly.
Today I’m looking at the 4 new hues in the CND AURORA COLLECTION, launched recently for winter. After showing you swatches of the 4 new hues, I’ve also put together various nail art looks created by CND using the CND Aurora Collection (scroll to the bottom of the post to see right away).
Above: Four new colours left to right – Winter Glow,Glacial Mist, Nordic Lights, Tundra, Weekly Top Coat
Winter Glow is the perfect pale pink. This was my week-long manicure that received so many compliments. As with most pinks in this colour range, they are tricky to apply so to avoid streaks and patches I applied 3 thin coats.
Glacial Mist is a stunner. A blue, sparkly polish, my fingers look like they just shook Princess Elsa’s hand.
Not a favourite of mine (a little chunky), Nordic Lights does look fab in the nail art below.
If you’re into satin nail polishes than you’ll love Tundra, a beautiful lilac pink that applies seamlessly with two coats.
NAIL ART WITH CND AURORA
As is usual with this line, CND Aurora does not disappoint. The colours are beautiful on their own but they also look gorgeous as part of the nail art looks above.
Until next time,
