Following on the nude trend from my earlier post , I wanted to create some really simple yet elegant nude nails that are work appropriate, and today I have two gorgeous luxury nail polishes to show you to make that happen: Estée Lauder Nude Pearl, from the limited edition Bronze Goddess Collection and Deborah Lippmann Like Dreamers Do from the Spring 2015 collection.
To create my nude nails I first used the sheer, pale bisque, Like Dreamers Do as my base using two coats.
This polish is absolutely gorgeous. You might gasp at spending $20 on a polish, but Deborah Lippmann polishes are really out of this world in terms of quality and I have never been disappointed.
I then used the stunning new limited edition Estée Lauder Nude Pearl with a thin striping brush to create one single stripe down the middle of each nail to create my nude nails. This polish is so shimmery and beautiful. It’s very similar to essie penny talk, as it has a beautiful rose gold finish to it, but Nude Pearl is more shimmery than penny talk which gives it a much more sparkly finish.
Nude nails do not have to be boring. They can be elegant, soft and understated and perfect for almost any occasion. I think this look would be perfect for anyone who is a little weary of sporting nail art as a manicure.
