The weather is still cold, icy and grey in Toronto so I decided to take Jewsie Nail’s lead (see her guest post here) and design some nail art with a super bright neon polish.
Chinaglaze has a great selection of neons from last summer so I played with China Glaze “Neon and on and on” which is a neon light pink. I also jumped onto the tribal nail art trend bandwagon and used black acrylic paint to paint some tribal accent nails overtop of a white base using Sinful Colors “Snow Me White”.
I was sent the new Nicole by OPI “matte top coat” (which is part of their new treatment line) a few weeks ago so I thought this was the perfect design to try it on. It’s a great top coat and has a really fantastic matt effect.
I really love how this design turned out and I’ll definitely be pulling it out come summer, varying the colors.
I hope you enjoyed this look.
Until next time,

so odd – I’ve tested and tested and can always see them?
These look amazing! China Glaze makes the best neons, I was drooling over them last summer 🙂 Your tribal print is perfect!
Thank you so much Lucy. I know, can you believe I didn’t have the neons last summer? I have them all ready now for this summer.
