As spring collections continue to wow us, today we turn to Maybelline’s newest addition to the ColorSenational line, Maybelline Rebel Bloom, Spring 2015. While delicate, pastels are a thing of the past, flirty, more bold pastels is what we’re wearing to make a statement this spring. With eight new shades (10 in the US), these colours are bound to wow you. Not only are the colours to die for, the formula is perfectly creamy and you get a minimum of 3 hours wear time out of these babies.
Rest assured, if you’re not daring enough to sport the most trendy of nude lips with 700 Barely Bloomed, the soft 710 Petal Pink will look good on almost everyone.

While finding the perfect lipstick hue is important (don’t worry Maybelline Rebel Bloom has you covered), don’t neglect your nails. A polished look needs the perfect lips AND nails. So what colour of polish will you pair your Maybelline Rebel Bloom lips to? Let’s have a look.
Look no further for the boldest, creamiest, most incredible lilac hue of the season – 725 lilac rush, which pairs perfect with essie dj play that song.
This moisturising pop of pink pairs perfectly with essie cascade cool, the perfect bubblegum pink. Looking for an every day pop of colour? 715 hibiscus pop has you covered.
Not the most perfect matches (I blame the light in my office at time of swatching), blushing bud certainly has more rose to it in the lipstick tube than essie bump up the pumps, but on the lips, there is a slight coral undertone to this soft rose shade.
Despite its name, 735 rush rose is anything but red rose, it has a deeper orange undertone to it that is just gorgeous. Paired with essie sunday funday. My favourite from the collection, 735 rose rush is the perfect element of bold.

Looking for the perfect peachy pastel? 745 peach poppy will definitely meet your needs with its understated elegance. Clearly this hue is popular this season, as it pairs perfectly with essie stones ‘n’ roses from the new essie resort 2015.

A colour that will look gorgeous on anyone, 710 petal pink is a beauty. It’s softer pink hue (less intense than 715 hibiscus pop) is pretty and sophisticated. Paired here with essie pink works, a classic pink for any pink lover out there.

Whether you’re a lipstick junkie, or looking for a new lipstick to brighten up your makeup palette this spring, Maybelline Rebel Bloom certainly has you covered. My favourites? While I can make a case for needing them all (do you do that too?) – 725 Lilac Flush is something that is so new and hot, and 715 Hibiscus Pop is really the perfect pink I can’t be without.
NEW Maybelline New York ColorSensational Rebel Bloom will be available at drugstores and mass market retailers across Canada as of January 2015 at a suggested retail price of $9.99 CAD.
Until next time,
