I have the pleasure of showing you five new indie polishes that are part of Lulabelle Nail Polish’s spring collection. Lulabelle Nail Polish is an indie brand based out of Toronto, Canada. International Shipping is available.
Once in a Blue Moon is a jelly blue base with larege blue and purple hex glitter and shards of holo purple as well. If you don’t mind visible nail lines (VNL) you can get away with 2-3 coats. Here I used essie “butler please” as a base to create as blue a polish as possible. I added black studs from Claire’s as an accent nail.
I Found My Thrill is a sparkly aqua glitter polish that looks great with three coats on it’s own (or you can layer over a turquoise color like China Glaze “Too Yacht To Handle” for a more intense aqua color. My accent nail uses essie’s “blanc” and studs purchased from Claire’s.
Klearly Kansas is a jelly red glitter polish with tiny red glitter and larger hex glitter. Shown here in three thin coats. Had to do a little fishing for the larger glitter. Accent nail inspired by Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, is painted with OPI “Sheer Tints – I Can Teal You Like Me” over essie “blanc”. The red bow was purchased from Born Pretty Store.
Barbie Fingers is a pink glitter polish with fine pink, silver and fushia glitter. The accent nail is polished with essie “bottle service” and “bacherlorette bash” using a dotting tool. The barbie decal was purchased from Make It Stick Designs.
When Pigs Fly is a gorgeous baby pink glitter polish with a turquoise, pink and neon pink glitter. You can’t really go wrong. I had to hand paint a little flying pig (too bad you can’t see his cute little nose in the pic).
Until next time,
