Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but there’s no reason why we can’t pay a little tribute to the love in our lives any day of the year, now is there?
It’s been a really difficult month for me on the personal side of things, so I haven’t been as active as I wanted to be with the inspiring monthly N.A.I.L #naillinkup unfortunately. The best part about the challenge, however is that it’s never to late to complete your design so today I’m putting forth my contribution for the prompt: heart nails.
I loved the new essie resort collection hue: stones ‘n’ roses so much, that I used this as my inspiration. I also received some really cute heart nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls not so long ago, so although I missed using them for Valentine’s Day, I thought they would be perfect for this design. On the middle and pink finger, I used the wave vinyls, also from Snail Vinyls, at an angle to create the wave-link effect. I placed the wave vinyls over top of my stones ‘n’ roses base and then painted half my nail with essie licorice, and the other half with essie no place like chrome. I used essie ignite the night on my index finger to give the look a little extra sparkle.
I’m really happy with how this look came together. So despite Valentine’s Day having come and gone, I’m still sporting some heart nails.
Until next time,

Hearts are always in season. I love the ring finger with the black hearts down the center.
You’re right Cindi – hearts are always in season.
Wow this is such a beautiful manicure! I don’t think there’s ever a wrong time to express lovey dovey stuff 🙂 I really love your colour combination, it works beautifully with the nail art 🙂 xx
That’s so much sweetie. I’m really glad you like it.
