Halloween is always a fun time to experiment with nail art. Last year I created some Nun nails to go with my nun costume and here are a few more designs I’ve created in the past) but if nail art isn’t your thing, you can always turn to easy press on nails, or nail wraps…there are so many options!
So far this year, I’ve created these Jack O’Lantern Halloween nails which I think are pretty cute.
To create this look I sponged two oranges (essie Braziliant & OPI Is Mai Tai Crooked?) and a yellow (OPI Good Grief!) nail polish onto a dry white base (OPI Alpine Snow). Then I used a small nailart brush to out the designs with a black polish (OPI 4 In The Morning), and then filled in the rest of the space. Once the design was completely dry, I applied OPI Matte Top Coat. Making sure your nails are completely dry is essential, otherwise the matte top coat will smudge your design.I think this design is really fun, don’t you?
I would like to improve my fine brush skills to create better faces, but you get the idea.
Let’s see if I can create a few more Halloween Nails before the 31st!
Until next time,
