Earlier this month, MAC launched a stunning limited collection featuring 5 matte lipsticks inspired by fashion designer Giambattista Valli.
I was super lucky to get my hands on 1 of the 5 liptsticks in the Giambattista Valli MAC collection – Bianca B (the whole collection seemed to sell out within a day).
Bianca B is pale white-pink matte lipstick that looks phenomenal with a tan. As with most MAC lipsticks, Bianca B really has a creamy texture that glides perfectly over the lips.
Since today’s prompt for the OMD3 Nail Art Contest is: PRINCESS, I used my Giambattista Valli MAC lippie as inspiration to create some princess nails.
I used two polishes: Revlon Coy (145) and essie Summit of Style (above)
Revlon Coy (145) is a beautiful pink, but it does require 3 coats (ouch) to achieve full coverage (why is this shade of pink always so hard to work with?).
I then used essie Summit of Style to add a soft gold glitter gradient to my princess nails.
I’m kind of in love with these so today I’m sporting seriously pink princess nails and my new Giambattista Valli MAC lippie! Clearly that makes me a princess today right?
Until next time,
Pssst….I highly recommend checking out some of the princess nails below – they’re fantastic! I love this challenge.
