Happy Sunday to all…still enjoying the joys of a nice weekend with warmer weather. It’s not too cold in Toronto quite yet so it’s the perfect time to be outside getting christmas errands done and decorations up. I haven’t gotten to the tree quite yet, but the front planters are done and the wreath is up (almost…).
I’ve been loving my OPI Infinite Shine manicure that I showed you the other day in In Pursuit of Purple, but I wanted to freshen it up. It’s often nice to wear a color on its own and then after a few days add an accent that fully changes the look. Adding an accent can be as easy as changing the color on one or two nails, or adding nail art strips to a few accent nails.
For my manicure design I was looking for the perfect tiny black polka dots. I usually use a tooth pic or a dotting tool to achieve polka dots but today I tried my Sally Hansen nail art pen in Black for a change.
Using a pen (similar to a sharpie but with a finer tip), I was able to get the most perfect (and tiny) polka dots on my nails.
I then added a small black rose (that I purchased at Claire’s) with nail art glue as an extra accent on my ring finger.
I had to finish off my look with some rings (you know how I love my rings!)
Rings are from: Forever21 and Muizee Shop.
Until next time,
