Every fall I’m excited for essie to release their trademark glitter polishes. Luxeffects are wonderful to add that sparkle to your plain manicure, and are the perfect glitter polishes to use for a glitter gradient. Last year’s essie luxeffects 2014 collection was stunning, and I’ve worn these glitter polishes all year round (my favourite: summit of style). This November, essie luxeffects 2015 has launched and low and behold, it pairs quite nicely with essie winter 2015.
Just in time for the Holiday season, these 4 brilliantly sparkly Luxeffects topcoats have been inspired by the hottest trend on the runways: hypnotic fringe. While these polishes contain much more line glitter than other glitter polishes, I’m seeing line glitter as a trend this winter, so if you’re like me and tend to shy away from line glitter, don’t be scared, experiment and have fun!
frilling me softly
A dazzling mix of platinum slivers and shattered cobalt, this is a fabulous silver glitter topcoat that can be paired with almost any colour. Shown below over essie altitude attitude.

This micro line glitter is a mixture of copper and bronze and would pair nicely over red, black or navy. I also think it would look great over a nude nail! Shown below over essie shall we chalet?
fashion flares
This mirrored fuchsia glitter is another fave from this collection with its fine pink line glitter and subtle black hex glitter suspended throughout. Shown below over essie apres-chic.
fringe factor
Last but certainly not least, this shadowy silver and iridescent pink confetti glitter topcoat is another stunner from essie luxeffects 2015. Shown below over essie peak snow.
At first, I was a little disappointed with essie luxeffects 2015 because I just don’t have a huge love for line glitter, however as I started playing I decided to embrace the new trend now have a new love for it.
I would love to know what you think about the new essie luxeffects 2015?
Until next time,
