Having given you a few glimpses of the new essie fall 2014 Dressed To Kilt collection HERE and HERE, I finally have swatches of the entire 6 polish collection for you. One word – (spoiler alert) Vavavavoom! is that even a word?
All polishes are creme based and are shown here with two coats and no top coat.
Dressed to Kilt
Yes essie has come out with yet another red. Apparently a must in all their collections…I love reds, but honestly I’m not seeing anything new here. Are you? Perfect cream formula and full coverage in two coats. This polish isn’t as shiny as some others without a topcoat so I don’t love my swatch pictures (wish I had a top coat). That said, it looks pretty awesome in these pictures don’t you agree?
Take it Outside
One of my favorites of the collection, a stunning elephant grey creme polish. Applied perfectly in two coats.
Style Cartel
Another favorite – a stunning royal blue. This color seems to be a real trend for fall and winter so I know I’ll be sporting these nails a few times.
Fall in Line
Reminds me of essie school of hard rocks – quite possibly a duplicate. Also similar to vested interest from last fall collection. Not original, but definitely a beauty none the less.
The Perfect Cover Up
A deep green with a blue undertone. Another stunner, but simply not original – 95% dupe of mind your mittens from last year’s essie winter collection (it may be slightly slightly lighter).
Partner in Crime
A beautiful dark chocolate with cranberry undertones, this color is perfect for the season. I think Partner in Crime would look great with gold nail art. Don’t you?
The Verdict?
Will Spend My Starbucks Money On:
- take it outside (grey)
- style cartel (blue)
- partner in crime (dark brown)
Might Miss One Starbucks This Week For:
- fall in line (grey/green)
- the perfect cover up (dark green)
I’m Not Giving Up My Starbucks For:
- dress to kilt (red)
What’s your favourite in color in the essie fall 2014 collection?
Until next time,
