It’s not a huge surprise that essie has come out with yet another red for their Fall 2014 collection (full swatches coming soon) – essie seems to include a red in almost every single collection!

That said, a girl can never have too many reds, can she?

I’m not going to lie, Dress to Kilt is a stunning fall red. While I was prepping for my swatches and had this gorgeous red on, I just had to Christian Louboutin them. Say what? Huh? Yes that’s right, Christian Louboutin them. essie Dress to Kilt is just like a coveted pair of Christian Louboutin shoes – true classic and elegant red destined to be paired with black and a hint of sparkle.

Since I can’t afford my own pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, why not put a little on my fingertips?

I first polished my nails with essie dress to kilt. I then used a narrow striping brush and black acrylic paint to polish the ruffian design. I finished the design off by adding some gold glitter on top of the design for extra bling. essie, essie canada, essie fall, essie fall 2014, style cartel, take it outside, fall nails, fall nail art, christian louboutin, red nails, red, dress to kilt, red nail designs essie, essie canada, essie fall, essie fall 2014, style cartel, take it outside, fall nails, fall nail art, christian louboutin, red nails, red, dress to kilt, red nail designs essie, essie canada, essie fall, essie fall 2014, style cartel, take it outside, fall nails, fall nail art, christian louboutin, red nails, red, dress to kilt, red nail designsI have to admit, I can’t stop staring at my nails.

“Christian Louboutin”! Is that not the most stylish verb I eva heard <3 I agree, never to much red, especially when it's red hot!

Thank you for showing this beautiful red. It’s gone straight on my lemming list. Your interpretation of the Christian Louboutin mani is fun and different from the regular version (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/37084396902545289/). It cracks me up that he (Christian Louboutin) came up with the idea of setting his shoes apart by giving them a red sole after he was so bored in his atelier one night that he painted the bottom of a pair of his shoes with an assistant’s red nail polish, and now he’s come out just this year with his own line of nail polishes. The top of his nail polish bottles (meant to echo the silhouette of a very high heel) could literally be a weapon!
