Color Club has launched another fantastic spring collection featuring seven new shades. If you loved the Love Tahiry collection, then you’ll definitely want to have a closer look at this collection.
A new take on neutrals, Color Club Shift into Neutral collection has a warmer palette of jelly-esque cream polishes. How can a polish be a cream and a jelly? Well this collection seems to have the consistency of both when applying two coats.
Let’s have a look at the individual swatches of seven gorgeous shades in the Color Club Shift into Neutral Collection. All polishes are shown with two coats and no topcoat.
New-tral
Such a soft and dusty pink, this polish is definitely one of my favourites in the Color Club Shift Into Neutral Collection. The neutral pink shifts in tone slightly depending on the light.
Blush Crush
Looking for the perfect neutral this season? I think I’ve found it in Blush Crush. I absolutely love this polish. The formula is a little thicker, but it does level out nicely and gives a nice sheer coverage with two coats.
Barely There
Dare to go nude this season? Try out Barely There and you won’t feel naked at all. The formula is very similar to Blush Crush (above).
Midnight Mulberry
Perfection in a bottle, this bold purple is so glossy, you’ll be noticed from across the room if you’re sporting this hue.
Get a Mauve on it
I’m not a huge mauve fan (tends to remind me of older lady type colours) but that’s just me. If you are looking for the perfect mauve, then this colour will definitely hit the spot. The formula is fantastic.
Sweet Mint
I don’t think I can get enough of mint nails. They look so fresh and clean and they’re also a wonderful base for gold and white nail art accents. This mint is a lot softer than any other mints I have in my collection (see some others here). It’s lighter in tone and is more pastel like in colour.
Blank Canvas
Very similar to On Cloud Nine from the Love Tahiry collection, I’m not sure why Color Club came out with another white. The two whites (Blank Canvas and On Cloud Nine) are different, however. Blank Canvas is much more jelly-esque in it’s consistency and finish and has more of a pink undertone then the blue undertone of On Cloud Nine.
What’s the Verdict?
If you’re a cream polish fan, than you’ll definitely be impressed with this collection. There’s no sparkles or glitter but for me, that’s perfect! These colours can be mixed and matched and would all work really well as a base for nail art.
Check the Color Club website for more information on this collection.
