Halloween nail polish collections are so much fun to review, and China Glaze Apocalypse of Color is no exception! The looks are spooky, gory and everything else you want your halloween nails to exude.
China Glaze Apocalypse of Color has five new hues and one that has come back to haunt us….a glow in the dark top coat! Every polish lover needs one of these in their collection.
Before I swatched all of the hues, I first wanted to create some halloween nail art with the colors to see how easy they are to work with. Check out this cute little marzipan frankenstein I found? Cute!!!!
Rest in Pieces
Festive fall glitter combination of copper, gold and black. I thought this glitter actually looked pretty over a nude base.
Getting to Gnaw You
Dark black polish with hints of orange glitter that gives full coverage with two coats.
I Love Your Guts
Blood red with specks of black is a really fun textured polish that is easy to work with. Full coverage in just one coat. For removal, soak a cotton ball in acetone (or remover) and cover with foil over your nail for 5 mins – super easy.
Don’t Let the Dead Bite
Nude base with sporadic red glitter pieces to look like blood splatter across your finger tips – ewwww gross!
But Of Corpse
Gruesome green with specks of black. Application and removal is the same as I Love Your Guts
Ghoulish Glow
Glow-in-the-dark top coat that can be placed over your design. Here I used a white base and then used these cute halloween nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls. China Glaze had this top coat a few years ago and they’ve brought it back in this limited edition collection.
What do you think of China Glaze Apocalypse of Color Collection? Will you be sporting any of these hues on Halloween?
Until next time,

I love the mani you created with both Frankenstein and his bride hehe. I wanted to buy the top coat but is not that glowy so I’m probably not going to buy it…yet
