Do you ever have a day where your creative juices just aren’t flowing the way you want them to? Today is that day. I sat down at my desk and attempted two different chevron nail designs for the last prompt for March #naillinkup, and I’m not happy with how either of them turned out 🙁 I wouldn’t say they are complete ‘nail fails’, but I had higher expectations.
Either way, I’ve gotten this far so I’ll show you both of the chevron nails that I created.
#1) Neon Chevron Nails
I used four polishes from the new Color Club neon pastel collection (swatches coming soon). Hot, hot, hot pants (peach), Under the Blacklight (highlighter yellow), Feathered Hair out to There (pink) and ‘Til the Record Stops (lime green on my thumb). I then used chevron nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls to create the accent nail.
2) Mix & Match Chevron Nails
For my second chevron nails, I used 3 color club polishes from the Color Club Love Tahiry Collection (swatched and reviewed here): Seal it with a Kiss, On Cloud Nine and Tall, Dark & Handsom. I also used the staggered chevrons from Snail Vinyls for the chevron accent nail.
Hopefully what I think of in my head turns out a little better this week!
Until next time,
