Fist off, I wanted to let you know I’m trying a new Facebook Connect comment section, in the hopes that it makes it easier for people to comment. I tried Disquis but people were still having problems. Would love your feedback.
Now onto today’s nail of the day!
I’ve wanted to do some cherry inspired nail art forever and I finally decided that being stuck inside (it’s -25 degrees Celsius with the wind chill) today was the day to start thinking of summer.
Cherries are my absolute favourite. Anything cherry and I’m all over it. Cherry lip balm (yummy), cherry Louis Vuitton (even yummier), a big bowl of cherries (yes please).
When I received my beautiful Hex Nail Jewelry cherry charm, I started to think of ways that I could use it to create some cherry nail art. Ever since my Christmas nails with my Hex tree charm, I’ve been looking forward to featuring one of their gorgeous and easy to use charms again.
Trawling through Instagram, I found an incredible Japanese artist who helped inspire this cherry nail art (spica_nail).
The colors used are Essie “A List”, OPI “My Vampire is Buff” and acrylic paint for the stems of the cherries. I then added a gold stud to balance off the Hex charm.
I hope you enjoyed this look.
Until next time,
