What does National Pride mean to you?
To me, it means being proud of the country I live in. I’m lucky enough to live in Canada, where I can walk down the street and not worry about my safety. I can talk to a neighbour and they’ll greet me with a smile (usually). I can walk into any hospital and be treated without being turned away. I can send my children to school and be confident that they will receive a high caliber education. I can go ice skating in the winter and canoeing on the great lakes in the summer. The list goes on, but I can proudly say that I live in Canada and it’s a great place to be.
Today’s theme for Oh Mon Dieux Nail Art Challenge is: National Pride – Day 29/31.
Having just done a set of Canada Day Nails for July 1st, I wanted to do something simple that would also be ‘work appropriate’ so I went with Canadian colors: red and white to create polka dot nails (you can never go wrong with polka dots).
Using OPI Race Red, and Alpine Snow for the dots, this is an easy look that almost anyone can do.
If you’re reading this, I would love to know what country you’re from and what you like most about the country you live in?
Until next time,
