We’re only days away from one of the best Holidays of the year – Halloween! This year I’m going to be on a beach for the special day so I’m going to miss all of the fun of dressing up and handing out candy. Even though I won’t be here, I wanted to stick to my tradition of creating some halloween nail art (see previous designs HERE, HERE and HERE).
Halloween Nail Art – Negative Space Ghosts
These negative space ghosts were super easy to achieve.I just received some new nail art brushes from Mitty so I wanted to put them to the test!
I first outlined the ghost in OPI Alpine Snow with Daisy 1.0 and then I filled it in using Peachy OOO. I then used black acrylic paint to outline the ghost using Minty 0. I used a dotting tool for the ghostly eyes. Of course I finished the design with Seche Vite top coat.
Pink Halloween Nail Art
This pink gradient halloween nail art was so easy to achieve!
Step 1: Polish your nails with a base colour (in this case I used white).
Step 2: Apply peel off nail tape.
This tape is quite thin and delicate, so you have to place it carefully, but you can stretch it to put it right close to your cuticles.
Step 3: Use a makeup sponge to sponge on your gradient colours.
Step 4: Peel off the tape and voila!
No clean up at all!!!!
Step 5: Apply top coatI then added some fun halloween nail art decals from my fave – Snail Vinyls.
What’s on your nails this Halloween?
