Bonita Colors has jumped on the long-lasting, non-UV light needed gel-like polish bandwagon and launched a new collection of affordable polishes.
What’s the price tag attached to one of these? Well, if you’re living in the US, you can pick up a Bonita Colors Gel On polish at Rite Aid for less than $3! If you live abroad, you’re a bit out of luck, because I don’t see these on the bonita website yet (but keep your eyes peeled because I’m sure they will be available soon).
There are six polishes together in the Bonita Colors Gel On collection: brilliant rose (dark pink), sweet berry (bright red) and lovers & friends (neon orange) not shown. Above, I’ve tested out these three blue green shades in: the best mint (green), my avatar (royal blue) and blue water lily (lighter blue).
I love blues and greens together so I thought these three polishes would pair nicely.
To create this look, I first polished my base with the the three Bonita Colors Gel On polishes (different colour on each nail). I then used Bonita Colors quick dry topcoat to speed up the drying process. Once completely dry, I used some wave nail vinyls from SNAIL VINYLS to create the multi coloured effect.
The Bonita Colors Gel On polishes were certainly shiny on their own, but I also applied their gel shine topcoat for my images.
I absolutely love the simple nail art and the combination of blues and greens. For such an inexpensive polish, I was super impressed with the formula. Though I didn’t test the longevity of the 7 day wear time, I do think for the price, Bonita Colors Gel On polishes are great in terms of the formula and gel like finish.
Until next time,
