My my mom took me to my first ballet in Paris a number of years ago. It was an exquisite experience – the elegance and grace of the dancers is indescribable. It’s really incredible what ballerinas can do.

Ever since I was a little girl, I always loved ballerina slippers – those gorgeous pink ballet flats with ribbons that criss cross up your leg. It’s no wonder the whole ‘ballet slipper’ flats style took off with women worldwide – everyone wants to look like a ballerina so it makes sense that most of us have a special connection with ballet slippers.

Today’s nail art is inspired by ballet slippers. Using OPI don’t pretzel my buttons  and kiss me I’m Brazilian, I created these ballet nails.

The index and thumb are both a simple ballet slipper, while the other three fingers are intended to replicate the ribbon running up your ankle.ballerina nails, ballerina nail art, ballet slipper nails, ballet nails, pretty nails, nail that accent, opi kiss me i'm brazilian, don't pretzel my buttons, ballet nail art ballerina nails, ballerina nail art, ballet slipper nails, ballet nails, pretty nails, nail that accent, opi kiss me i'm brazilian, don't pretzel my buttons, ballet nail art

I always wanted ballet slippers when i was little. my mom told me she would get them for me if I proved that I could stand on my toes. I tried, and naturally, I could never get up on my toes. so no shoes for me. she’s so sneaky !
